Aldrich Connections

Gregory Peterson, Board of Trustees, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum; Collector
Gregory has purchased two paintings of mine. Both were donations to the 2006 Aldrich Undercover benefit. Our photo shoot was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Visit his website to view his collection: petersoncollection.org

Richard Klein, Exhibitions Director, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum; Artist
I met Richard in 2004 when he reviewed my work as part of Aldrich’s Radius program. In fall of 2008 I painted his portrait and donated it to the Aldrich Undercover Secret Art Sale. My paintings of Richard are based on photos I took of him at Louis Kahn’s Yale Center for British Art in New Haven.

Gary Lichtenstein, Master Silkscreener
RRichard Klein recommended Gary to me as one of two subjects for the 2010 Aldrich Undercover benefit (see Linda Dugan). Gary’s show, “Gary Lichtenstein 35 Years of Screenprinting” just wrapped up at the Aldrich. I photographed Gary at his studio in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

Linda Dugan, Board of Trustees, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum
As an Aldrich alumnus, I was given the opportunity to donate two works to their 2010 Undercover benefit. Linda was one of two people Richard Klein recommended when I asked who I should paint (see Gary Lichtenstein).
