"Ice 3" is part of a subset of three works on board from the series "Spontaneous Deliberation”.
Particle board is an interesting surface to work on. I like its rigidity as opposed to paper, which tends to buckle. I don’t prime it, which accounts for some of the neutral grays.
This work on board can be hung as-is or framed. I like the idea of a shadow box.
